A recipe is one Markdown file: the process in plain words, the model to build it in any tool, and the sources it was written from. Anyone can add one.
With the recipe-writer skill
- Add the recipe-writer skill to Claude or another AI assistant that takes skills.
- Tell it how your group runs the process, or point it at a method's book or a public guide. It asks a few questions to pin down the scope.
- It writes the recipe in the cookbook's format, with one to three sources, and opens a pull request on process-cookbook.
- The checks run on the pull request; a reviewer reads it as the person who would run the process. Merged, it is live here within minutes, under your name.
By hand
Copy any recipe, follow FORMAT.md, run python3 scripts/check.py, and open a pull request. CONTRIBUTING.md has the details: one recipe per pull request, written from one to three published sources.
Requests
Not sure what to write? The Requested recipes board lists what people searched for and didn't find, most wanted first.
